Jason Altieri

Jason has extensive experience in healthcare analytics, value-based care, and product development. He has worked across various leadership roles, driving analytics strategy, financial projections, and data science implementation to support strategic decision-making.

Prior to rejoining Milliman, Jason served as Vice President of Oncology Intelligence & Analytics at McKesson, where he led a team of 30+ analysts and data scientists supporting sales, marketing, clinical decisions, and strategic initiatives. During his tenure, he spearheaded the implementation of an Azure Databricks platform and advanced analytic products through data science and machine learning applications. In previous roles at McKesson, Jason led payer analytics, value-based care strategy, and product management functions, overseeing analytics teams that developed novel payment arrangements and streamlined contract evaluation processes. His leadership in sales and marketing analytics helped reduce ad-hoc requests by 80% through the development of a Tableau product portfolio.

Jason also held key positions at Milliman earlier in his career, serving as director of product management and senior data science product manager. He played a pivotal role in Medicaid quality measure reporting and data engineering by managing client implementations and overseeing analytics development. His experience extends to actuarial analysis, where he supported consulting projects focused on accountable care organizations and value-based contracts, leveraging SQL, SAS, and Python for cost and utilization reporting.
